如果說德黑蘭是伊朗的首府,那么伊斯法罕則可以說是伊朗的靈魂。這座古老的城市幾千年來被幾代統治者所青睞,成為當時的政治文化中心,盛極一時。這里的宮廷、廣場,乃至一磚一瓦都因為這段輝煌的歷程而奪人耳目。在16-17世紀,伊斯法罕在阿巴斯王的統治下達到了歷史巔峰,被世人譽為“藝術天堂”。
這張完美無瑕的羊毛毯繪有狩獵場景,經典的鳥獸圖案不禁令人回想起16-17世紀薩非王朝的動物地毯。形態各異的花草鳥獸,精心細致的描畫編織,無處不盡顯宮廷風范。在明亮的洋紅色邊界的環繞中,充盈著各種鳥類、人物,和瞪羚格斗的獅子,還有中國人熟悉的鳳凰圖案,各種不同的鳥和動物們平和共處,宛如置身天堂之中,畫面既有寫實主義風格,也頗具幻想色彩。這條地毯奇妙的設計靈感來自 Illiati人的游牧生活。他們擇草而居,每天打獵、放牧、吹笛,過著一種原始而自在的生活。地毯的中央有一只吠犬正在保護綿羊免于其它掠食者的傷害。在古波斯,最佳的運動方式就是狩獵。因此我們可以看到狩獵圖案出現在薩非王朝的許多藝術品中,如銀器、銅器制品。而伊斯法罕在手工制品方面的優勢地位一直保持到今天。
該毯采用全植物染色,用最優質的克爾克羊毛編織而成,全毯編結緊密,每平方米達81萬個結點,全毯共135余萬個結點。品相極佳。適宜裝掛于室內,極具收藏價值。
A splendid and flawlessly-crafted early Isfahan carpet in a classical Persian bird and animal design, strongly reminiscent in both composition and palette of the great Animal Carpets of 16th and 17th Century Safavid Persia. The diverse exotic creatures which fill the foliage of the glowing magenta field are meticulously rendered in the brilliant Safavid Court design style. Massive bird forms, a Lion and Gazelle combat group, wonderfully imaginative Phoenix symbolic conflict dominate the upper part of the field. As the design ascends the carpet, against a sinuous three-plane lattice of 'Vase Carpet' design, the various birds and animals depicted gradually become more peaceful and overtly Paradisical in Character. This fantastic and artistic design shows Illiati life. The Illiaties live in small green openings in the nature. Their life is in the nature, bringing their herd out to graze everyday, lying in open tents nearby during the day and playing the flute to enjoy life and to converse with their herds, letting them know their caretaker is around, telling them when to follow him to go home. In the middle field of the carpet there is a dog barking, protecting the sheeps from other predators.
